今週は自己紹介の会話練習も行い、先週行ったDo you like～？のセンテンスとも繋げて、
考えながら自分のことを伝える訓練を行いました。
自己紹介の際に、相手の名前のスペルが分からない時、何と伝えるか？また何と答えるかの訓練もしました。

先週習った単語の理解を深めると共に、新しい単語を学びました。
日常的に使える感覚表現になるので、ふとした時に習った言葉を思い出し、使えるようになることを目指します。
そして、会話の練習にも挑戦です♪

A:I dont like slime.
B:Why? A:It’s gooey!

今週はいよいよデビルドエッグ作りに挑戦しました！
教室の中は、卵の匂いでいっぱいの中、Kクラスの子供たちも自分だけのデビルドエッグに、「まずそう」と言いながらも、最後は舐めたい＝“I want to lick it.”という単語も一緒に学びました！
千葉県市川市にある昭和学院小学校は、「英語に強くなる小学校」としても評価の高い学校として、県内外からも大勢のお子様が通われる私立小学校になります。
体験型の英会話教室として評価を頂き、２０２４年度よりアフタースクール（放課後に学校内で行われる習い事）の【英会話部門】として、導入していただくことが決定いたしました。

来週はいよいよ、学んだ英語と共にお料理に挑戦です。
外国人のお友達と一緒に作るときのシチュエーションを想定して、作り方や自己表現も出来ることを目指しています。

今週は、クッキングの工程の後半で使う英語表現を確認しました。
Recipe Steps 2nd Half-
6. Remove the yolk to a bowl and place the egg whites on a plate.
7. Mash the yolks with a fork.
8. Add the mayonnaise, vinegar, salt and pepper.
9. Stir and make it smooth.
10. Add the egg yolk mixture into the egg white.
11. Sprinkle on paprika.
また、パセリ・いとこんにゃく、ホッカイロなどを袋に入れて、目隠した状態で、どんな感覚？と自己表現に挑戦です。
It’s stinky.
It’s odouless.
It’s translucent.
など、五感で感じたものを、自分の言葉として繰り返し表現に慣れていきました。

【Trial preview of cooking steps】
Divide the cooking process in half and conduct a trial run on a dummy using real ingredients and tools.
クッキングの工程を半分に分けて、リアルな材料や道具を使って、ダミーでクッキングをしてみました！
【Recipe Steps 1st Half】
1. Take a pot of water.
2. Boil the water and put the eggs inside.
3. Prepare an ice water.
4. Remove the eggs from the water and place in the ice water.
5. Peel them and slice in half.

YouTube宿題でも出てきた単語を身体を動かし、五感でマスターすることを目指します。
レッスンの最後に行った【Game Egg race‼】でも、楽しみながら今日学んだ言葉を再び復習しました。

グループワークで作り方についても発表するので、必要な単語やフレーズを覚えていきます。
