【Teacher’s Eye】
Learning how to speak and understand the English language is very important for students. However, we believe in HOP that learning a language should not only focus on language acquisition but also through experience and application. This week, our students have made their own colorful candles. They were individually given materials and instructions on how to make them. They communicated with each other and learnt the expressions, “Which color do you want?”, “I want the (blue) one”, Pile the (yellow salt) in the glass”. Some words were also taught during the procedure such as “crash, melt and smash”. Everyone was pretty excited and satisfied with their own crafts.
